Just a quick note of appreciation. I'm using your software for a student I teach who has many learning difficulties, but he is thrilled (and motivated) to be working with your software. Please continue the excellent work, and best of luck going forward.
Ed, Canada.

We are a homeschool family and we have been using your site for nearly 10 months now...we think you're great!

Keep up the fantastic work you do!
Warmest Regards
Sarah, New Zealand

I have been using your programs for years now and am really glad for a chance to say how FAB they are. They are better than any other I've found for educational purposes and a fraction of the price. All the kids who have used them at my school LOVE them and I think you are a very very clever man!!

How To Play

On the opening screen start the game by pressing any key, clicking the mouse or clicking on the Play With Keys or Play With Mouse button.

The object of the game is to catch Jerry and get as many points as possible to be in the high score table. There are six main levels of difficulty, or scenes as I call them in the game, each one faster and harder than the last and all are completed once you have caught Jerry. There are as many scenes as you wish to play but once past scene 6 the speed you travel at remains the same i.e. fast. To start, press any key or mouse click on the clapperboard in the centre of the screen. You are Tom and will start in running mode after Jerry, who starts running too. Objects will fly past you on the pavement/sidewalk, so be careful. You can only move up and down across the path using the arrow keys, mouse or joypad/joystick (see below). If you are in line with an object whilst you are running along, you will collide with it and lose one of your 9 lives. Moving up or down the path will help you to avoid the objects. The only objects you can collide with safely are the tins of "Kitty Food" which appear at random at the top and bottom of the path. You win points each time you pick up a tin of "Kitty Food" and they give you a boost moving Jerry a little closer to you. Once you are close enough to Jerry you will find that you will be able to catch him by moving down to him.

Scoring

Your 9 lives are displayed as icons in the top left of the screen and your score is shown in the top right. You lose a life each time you collide with an object on the path. The game is over when all 9 lives have been used up. You score points when picking up tins of "Kitty Food". 50 points per tin are awarded in the first level, then 100 in the second, 150 in the third and so on. Jerry moves nearer to you each time a tin is picked up but please note that as the game gets harder, Jerry doesn't move quite so far, so more tins are needed in the later levels.

Controlling Tom

Tom is controlled by the Up and Down arrow keys on your keyboard or by the mouse if that option is chosen on the title screen. To play the game using a joypad/joystick click on Game in the top menu and choose Choose Player's Keys Or Joypad. In the column under 1, click on the square next to Joystick 1 or Joystick 2. You can also change the keys used for up and down control by clicking the cross in the Keyboard square and then the button next to the up and down movement options.

Thanks for the TERRIFIC software at a great price!

I've been a happy Olltwit user for years - I downloaded several of your programs back in '04, for my older son to use. Now it's time for my younger son to use them, and I've come back to your site to find 1) I owe you, and 2) you have more great stuff. I'm happy to pay up because I know the quality of your programs.
